Basavaprabhu Vidyavardhaka Samste is a nonprofit organization established in the year 2014 in Yadgir District, Karnataka. Our organization is committed to empowering individuals through skill development programs and promoting social welfare in the community.
We believe in the transformative power of education and the importance of equipping individuals with practical skills to secure sustainable livelihoods. Medical Camp

We organized a free medical camp at Yadagiri. We chose this particular area because we surveyed a few months ago and we found people with many diseases. With our volunteer team, we organized whole body checkups for poor people and beneficiaries got free medicines. So far we have reached 80 beneficiaries.

International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day was celebrated at our office in peace, harmony, happiness, and success for every soul in the world. Yoga is a mental, physical, and spiritual practice that needs to be carried out every day. This was a great opportunity to imbibe the value of this discipline. The session was attended by students and staff.

Covid-19 Support

Despite the state government’s efforts to help the marginalized, many people were struggling to cope with the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. With increasing chaos and anxiety in slums, new issues arose every day. Migrants were being threatened by their landlords to pay rent or evacuate from their homes, Cases of domestic violence and sexual abuse were on the rise, and Increased discrimination based on religion, caste, and class began surfacing. Not all those in need were in a position to apply for or received government aid. Their identification documents may have been missing or incomplete; some may not have possessed a ration card and others may not know where and when food distributions took place.
We reached out to 300 children in slums and supported them during the lockdown. The team procured kits (each kit costing around 2,500 INR). This would sustain a family office for about eight weeks. They sourced the rations from a wholesaler on a no-profit basis and packed and distributed them at the rural sites.

Our organization has organized an Introductory Seminar on - “Cyber Crime” in 2020. Cybercrime is a growing concern for Information Security professionals. The world today is experiencing exponential growth in cyberspace. Nevertheless, India too has witnessed a significant ascend in Internet activities and it is quite assertive to say that such phenomenal growth in access to information on the one hand leads to empowered individuals and organizations and on the other hand also poses new challenges to government and citizens. Making the cyber world safe is the need of the hour.
